April 14th

Well this past week was a mess. We invited Maiara to be baptized & she said yes. She was so excited & ready to go. Her parents then said no. We spent three hours talking with them, testifying, & sharing scriptures. & the final answer was no. Maiara was devestated, but we chatted with her & she has decided to keep going to church & reading the Book of Mormon. I shared 1 Nephi 3:7 with her & explained that Heavenly Father has commanded us to be baptized therefore he is already preparing a way for her she just needs to stay strong. Rosali had an interview with our new district leader, but at this point she really isn't interested anymore. She said that she wants to wait a little longer, but I think it's just an excuse. I was definitely upset after hearing that she didn't want to be baptized, because about a month ago she did. I just have to remember that God has a plan for her. Although I'm sad that our investigators cannot be baptized I know that everything will work out for them and that Heavenly Father has a plan. 

We get to go to the temple on Wednesday, because our our mission met it's baptismal goal. So that will be so awesome!
